What to put on an electrician landing page

Electrical work worries people because the stakes are safety and compliance. A visitor wants proof that you are qualified, a straight answer on urgent problems and a clear idea of the process. The page should lead with those.

The sections your electrician page needs

First screen

State the trade and the place in the heading, such as "Safe, tidy electrical work in Springfield". Add one button to call or request a quote. Put the licence or registration details close by, because that is the first thing a careful visitor looks for.

Urgent problems

Add a short band for situations people fear: sparks, a burning smell, no power. Tell them to make the situation safe and call emergency services when there is danger to life, then say how your own urgent line works and when it is answered.

Services

List the work in groups: fuse boards and rewiring, sockets and lighting, inspections and certificates, EV charger installation, fault finding. Name the certificate you issue where your area requires one, using the official term.

How it works

Explain the sequence: a conversation about the job, a site visit when needed, a written quote, the work, then testing and paperwork. Saying that you test and document the installation tells a buyer you take it seriously.

Area and quotes

List where you work and what the quote includes. Say whether a visit to assess the job is free. Explain what can change a price, such as hidden wiring or access, so a later adjustment is no surprise.

Questions and contact

Answer questions about certificates, working in older homes, power cuts during the job and tidying afterwards. Close with phone, hours and a short quote request that your own service receives, asking for the address and a description of the problem.

Wording tips

  • Quote your registration or licence number exactly as the issuing body shows it.
  • Give safety advice in one calm sentence and avoid dramatic language.
  • Use the official names of certificates and inspections in your region.
  • Do not promise a fixed finish date for work that depends on what is behind the wall.

What to replace in the template

  • The business name, phone number and opening hours in the header, the emergency band and the contact block.
  • The licence or registration wording, which must show your own details exactly as the issuing body states them.
  • The six service cards: keep the work you are qualified to do and delete the rest.
  • The area list, the sentence in the quote block about what a quote includes, and the FAQ answers on certificates.

How the template maps to this advice

The electrician demo includes an emergency band, then services, why-us, process, area, pricing, faq and contact. Replace the placeholder licence wording with your own details. Edit the band first, since it carries the most urgent words on the page.

Open the electrician demo to see the blocks in place, read how to edit and publish a template, or see what is included in the electrician template. Every file is plain HTML with the CSS inside it and no JavaScript.
